The 2016 – 2017 Panasonic Student Eco Picture Diary Challenge winners have been announced!
Over 100 New Jersey Classrooms in grades 4- 8 had the opportunity to learn about how to protect the environment and then student team had to take actions to make the world more environmentally friendly.
Winners included: Woodrow Wilson Elementary School, Bayonne, NJ, Student Team: Ciera Miller, Jaelynn Barrios, Isabella Colaj, Fayth Harrison and Teacher: Larissa Drennan; Joseph H. Brensinger School, Jersey City, NJ, Student Team: Michelle Magos, Chaimaa Aknouche, Kiara Calderon, Bibi Lopez-Zuniga and Teacher: Ahmed Hassanein; Thomas Edison Energysmart School, Somerset, NJ, Student Team: Ananya Ivaturi, Anika Parthiban, Sriya Sadhu, Udgita Pamidigantam and Teacher: Mehmet Yaramis. All winners were awarded with a luncheon, tour and prizes at Panasonic North America Headquarters on June 14, 2017. Congrats to the winners and those who participated!
