Mary Leaphart is an Independent Education Consultant and has been working in the field of Education for nearly twenty years. After spending ten years in the classroom teaching mathematics and other subjects, Mary moved into the private education sector where she developed curriculum and facilitated training for professional organizations. As she continues her consulting work, she will be returning to the classroom part-time this year with a private school in the northern Virginia area.

Panasonic will have several executives participating in the judging of the 2016-2017 Student Eco Citizenship Project.

Dr. Peggi Zelinko began her 35-year career in the education field as a high school marketing education teacher and university teacher educator. She went on to direct state and national programs designed to support teachers and school leaders. She retired from the U.S. Department of Education where she served as the Director of Teacher Quality and School Leadership Programs in its Office of Innovation and Improvement.
