Office Depot Dream UP! Career Exploration Program

This program introduces career exploration resources to middle school students as they begin thinking about the future. Dream UP! asks students to use USA TODAY to analyze, evaluate and interpret relevant information related to career trends, while evaluating their own interests and career goals.

ConAgra Foods Foundation Child Hunger Ends Here In-Classroom Project and Competition

ConAgra Foods Foundation partnered with the USA TODAY Charitable Foundation with support from USA TODAY Education to develop Child Hunger Ends Here, a free innovative educational project that engaged middle and high school aged students (grades 7-12) in learning about and fighting child hunger. Through an engaging PSA Challenge, students researched child hunger, created a public service announcement to activate their communities to end child hunger and submitted their videos to a national competition.

United Way – Healthy Teens

United Way Worldwide, the ACC, and the USA TODAY Charitable Foundation teamed up to provide a free cross-curricular health and wellness literacy program to inspire middle school students to build a better quality of life for themselves, their families and their communities! United Way aims to get 1.9 million more young people healthy and active by the year 2018.

The Safe America Foundation and the Motorola Foundation have partnered with the USA TODAY Charitable Foundation to create a groundbreaking educational initiative which teaches the importance of disaster preparedness by utilizing a “Text Messaging for Safety” model.

Parents of teenagers have plenty to worry about, but the biggest threat to teen safety is parked just outside their home. Preventable motor vehicle crashes caused by teen drivers are the leading cause of death for teens in America today. Encouraging teens to develop the right attitudes today can lead to a lifetime of safety for all American families. The Allstate Foundation is helping to reduce teen driving fatalities by providing students with real-life safe driving examples from USA TODAY.
